About Us

Since the very beginning HOPE has been invested in the betterment of our community. From the very first meals that were distributed at the New Rochelle Train Station to our Covid-19 response, HOPE has been there for its neighbors.

We have prided ourselves on being the stepping stone for a better life. Help Our People Eat has been our foundation, but we’re so much more now.

HOPE has become a full-stop community service organization. We offer summer camp, housing for the homeless, a kosher pantry, community outreach, and so much more. We employ one of the biggest volunteer operations around and have fun doing it. I urge you to learn about us and get to know us. Hope to see you soon.

Our Founder

In 1984, Mary Lou McNaney founded HOPE Community Services with a single mission: Help Our People Eat.

Our Team

“I am proud of the legacy that I inherited leading this amazing organization and I pledge to do my best to honor my commitment to this beautiful community. HOPE’s staff and volunteers will be on this journey with me, but we can’t do it alone. There are a lot of ways to get involved. Please consider volunteering or donating. And remember, you are not just supporting HOPE. You are investing in your own community.”
